BMS Connection Issues

If no BMS data appears:

1. Confirm the BMS is a supported model: JK-BMS, Daly, JBD, or Seplos — see Supported hardware.

For a UART connection (JK-BMS, Daly, or JBD):

2. Confirm TX and RX are crossed.
3. Confirm GND is connected.
4. Confirm the connector pinout.
5. Confirm the ESP32 is not being powered from battery pack voltage.

For a BLE connection (JK-BMS, Daly, JBD, or Seplos), confirm the BMS's Bluetooth is on and within range instead — see BLE auto-discovery in the wiring guide.
